A bit of background info:
First off, I'm 22 not 16. Haha:) I just earned my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing last March, of which I'm very proud of. Hey, I made it through college, alive! I love the beach, the unending horizon is just so unexplainably beautiful. I love roller coasters, although I end up barfing most of the time, I'd still get in line again for another ride.

Tell us a bit about your site(s):
FLYING WITH MY ASYMMETRICAL WINGSMy blogspot site has gone through so many changes. From layouts, to the way I write, and url's, but I think Morning Monster's here to stay. It has a ring of some sort, I think. It's my online habit, a stress releaser, and my own happy cyberspace.

Your purpose for blogging? That is; personal, fun, to inspire, to reach, to teach, or what?
I think my sole purpose for blogging is mainly personal, for myself. And that is to release whatever feelings that I have. My entries ranges from different emotions. So I think it's a mixture of everything, from stupidity, funny, heartwarming and downright sappy.

How long have you been blogging?
I've been blogging since March 2005 :) So it has been 3 years and 4 months.

Your general opinion of the Blogworld and its significance: Do you feel that blogging is important, and has real world impact?
It's all about the freedom to express whatever or however we want to. A lot of bloggers have taken their writings to some level, and they're respected for their opinions. It's pretty vital nowadays, since we're into the more technological era, and people always have something in their mind waiting to be typed online.

What would you like to be remembered for as a blogger, and do you feel that your contribution to the Blogworld has impact?
I would like to be remembered as that girl who touched your heart on at least one of my entries. May it be on my funny or sappy lines.
As for the contribution, I would like to think that I did. Whenever my friends, or some other people that I don't know leaves a comment on my entries saying that they loved it because they've gone through or going through the same phase, they learned about something, or simply just by saying that my entries made their day, that truly meant a lot. It may not be a big of a deal for the others, but for me, it's worth every cuss I get from my brain cells. HAha:) No, seriously, it's very heartwarming.

What kind of blogs do you subscribe to and read on a daily/weekly basis?
Blogs of friends, and other bloggers as well. I blog hop a lot, out there clicking on wonderful insights of other bloggers. Ranges from personal opinions, life updates, political, food, and yea, gossips.

Who are the female bloggers you most admire, respect, and feel are making impact upon the world as a whole? Why?
It would be Miss Ala Paredes of ALAISM Her thoughts and takes on life is simply awesome. If everyone could have a glimpse of her writings, and take it within them, I think the world be a bit better. Or something. :)

What was your best moment as a blogger?
Every time I post an entry, simply means that my brain cells are still functional. But on a serious note, it would be the comments that I get. It's heartwarming:) And every time people take time to catch a glimpse of my site.

What was your worst?
Negative reactions and the likes. It's okay, though. We all have different opinions.

Where do you see your blogging experience going in the future?
I'll still probably be blogging by then. As long as there are stories to tell, feelings to share, my blogspot's here to stay. And yea, until my brain cells are still functioning:)

Bloggin Babes has gotten off to a fine start! I am so excited about this, and truly believe that this will be something memorable. I am about to add my 3RD Bloggin' Babe, and have several more in the wings, it is all good!!!!

Historically, women were behind the scene workers as the World Wide Web opened itself to receive the world, and we have made great stride, gain, appearance, and impact ever since; much reason for celebration and exaltation, think???

Women are so creative, as shows in the many Internet businesses, programs, applications, social networks, and much more here on the WWW. A bit of background info:
I am the owner of The Horoscope Junkie. It's a six year old horoscope directory that started as a hobby but has turned into a full time job. With approximately 120,000 visitors each month it can keep me pretty busy. I love this site... It was built from scratch (no template) and I have watched it grow steadily over the years.
I am also the blog author of Twisted Sister. Originally I began blogging with my sister as co-author but after a few months of blogging she lost interest. I decided to go it alone, and now I'm glad I did. I've made so many friends from all over the globe and it's an experience that I'll always be grateful for.

Your purpose for blogging?
I blog for fun... mostly. Occasionally I will write something inspiring or personal, but for the most part I try to keep it light. I don't blog my life but I may share a personal moment now and then. The way I see it, if I want news, gossip, politics etc., I can watch TV.

How long have you been blogging?
I started blogging in March of 2007... so about a year and a half.

Your general opinion of the Blogworld and its significance: Do you feel that blogging is important, and has real world impact...
I think it has more impact than most people realize. When you go into a website it's like going into an empty room. You feel like you are in there alone. But when you go into a blog there is actually someone to talk to. A blog is interactive whereas a regular site isn't.

What would you like to be remembered for as a blogger, and do you feel
that your contribution to the Blogworld has impact? Why on both questions:
I would like to be remembered as intelligent, funny and kind. That would be fantastic. I'm not sure how much of an impact I've made but if I made one person laugh or one person think... that would be enough for me.

What kind of blogs do you subscribe to and read on a daily/weekly basis?
It's pretty much a mixed bag. I have a special liking for snarky humor blogs. Not everyone can do snark and pull it off but I've found a couple that completely crack me up. I also follow personal blogs,thinking blogs, poetry and inspirational. I don't do celebrity, politics or gossip blogs.

What was your best moment as a blogger?
When I won the Rising Blogger Award. I don't know who nominated me and it came out of the blue. I had written a post about my niece. She died young of breast cancer and I was still trying to deal with the pain. So winning that award was very emotional for me.

What was your worst?
Posting a personal rant. I didn't name any names but I was angry and the post got a lot of attention. I regret that. You know what they say... "Post in haste, repent at leisure."

Where do you see your blogging experience going in the future?
I have no idea. I take it one day at a time. I've burnt out a couple of times now and have taken breaks but I always come back. So it's a "live in the moment" kinda thing...

I think it's important that we look for humor and not take things so seriously... If you're sucking too hard on your lollipop then life is gonna get you down!

Dawn has made some very valid points here, and I find her refreshing, honest, and very likable. I totally relate to much of what she has stated here, especially about a web-site being like an empty room, and a blog being more interactive, which is a great synopsis between the two, think? That I cared about the condition of our dying world....

I read all blogs that are new and facing a challenge...I am for the underdog. I love to see them blossom. I give them my support.

That's easy, Lynda Winsor is my all time favorite blogger. She continues to support and encourage you, and your blog expecting nothing in return. I love Nina Munteanu for her creative genius.

When I reached 10,000 on Technorati in less than a year..

When someone else tried to claim my original blog...

Where do you see your blogging experience going in the future?
Well I hope to continue...
I know the material will always be important. It is whether or not I can continue seeing devastation and sadness.

SISTERHOOD...

I am very often amazed at the enormous diversity of women online. There are women from every neck of the woods, worldwide, with so much going on, or such tales to tell. It is moving, stimulating, inspiring, and it ROCKS!!!

I am also glad to see that many women are using the 'Net to help other women, as I try to, offering information, advice, and even helping women find their niche in life, which is all empowering. Women should embrace their sisterhood, and though our sister is as far away as the ends of the Earth, if she should need anything, anything at all, we should strive to provide as much for her as we can, and, if possible, help her to arise to her level of excellence and happiness. Oprah is a fine example of helping women, even rescuing women from dire and violent straits, and I for one, believe that it is a responsibility of all women to assist her sisters in need...

Well, I have finally found my first subjects to grace this site, and for that I am grateful and geeked! This will prove to be an important project, far more than it might seem, you will see...

WOMEN & THE INTERNET HAVE COME A LONG, LONG WAY...

Women have changed the face, the direction, and the flavor of the Internet in many ways. For instance, some of the most renowned Internet Marketers, Work At Home Moms, and Life Coaches, are gracing the world with their feminine touch...

It has been a long journey for women, and has created some battles along the way. Too many Internet rulers were men who were not willing to accept change, though certainly, they had no idea what they were up against, and certainly, their resistance was in vain, for women do, indeed, rule the Internet in number, sales, and purchasing power. Which only makes sense, for women are the prime consumers of the world, in that they make most of the purchasing decisions for the household, and such, plus, women have taken great strides in becoming competitive contenders in a once deemed man's world...

In the course of these changes, men have learned a few lessons, and have adapted, at least as much as they can, are willing to, or find necessary. I am not slighting men, for it was largely their foresight which opened up the Internet to the World Wide Web, which has given countless opportunity to billions of people, and they should be respected for their vision, for their intelligence, and their implementation of one of the greatest resources of history...

I am proud of us, we have come a long way, and we have done so with such vigor, creativity, intelligence, and presence that there is no turning back; the face of the Internet is now colorful, vibrant, sensitive, compassionate, more logical, and certainly more fun!

I will be the first woman to be featured here, as I feel it important to know a bit about the author...

My life has been a spiral of many differing levels and facets, each which has led me to becoming the woman I am today. Let's say that life has been more than interesting, and for sure, different from most females. I have not been one to have come from a typical family or family life. I have been on my own, more or less, since I was about 11 or 12. It is a long, long story, and while it would serve purpose to tell some of it, that is not what this site was designed for. All I can say is that I have been to hell and am now in Heaven, and my lessons have taken well...

I am Mother to a gorgeous Daughter, and, have loved the role of being a Mother, mentor, and friend to this child. She has grown up while I was growing up beside her, and the bonds we have shared through the many ups and downs have created a relationship which few Mother/Daughters might have. We have supported each other in times of crisis, we have prevailed, persevered, and arisen, despite many obstacles, and we have exclaimed respect and regard for one another throughout, plus, we have honored and hailed each others victories, advancements, and accomplishments. It has been the most secure, the most wonderful time of my life, and a role which I learned to take more seriously than any role this far...

My forte is writing, and, helping people. I am at my best when I am helping others. I often wish that I could help myself as well as I help other people, yet, I believe that in helping others, I am helping myself...

I spent many years in the service industry on most levels, but, mostly as a manager of some sort, which I liked and hated at the same time. I never knew stress until managing establishments took its toll on me. I now own a small business, helping people, and have 2 or 3 more coming soon. One will be very exciting, as I have just become ordained and have huge plans for this...
